2 Easy Ways to Boost Engagement

I am always saying to leaders that without your team, you can’t be successful. I know for a fact that I would not of achieved all that I have without a successful team behind me.

As the leader of the company, it is critically important that I am boosting engagement in my team because we are always so busy that it can get challenging to keep the engagement high. I need to be working on the business so ensuring that I have a team that is engaged is one of my biggest priorities.

I have seen teams fail to get the appreciation and recognition they deserve and because of this, I see staff that are disengaged, and undervalued.

Here are two EASY ways to boost engagement.

1. Inspire Passion

When your team are passionate, inspired and genuinely excited about their work, they will work harder, faster and better. They are more likely to go above and beyond for your clients and view problems and objections as opportunities.

Passion is contagious, and it’s what keeps your team motivated and performing well regardless of setbacks or lulls. Loving what you do also encourages a culture of never-ending improvement because of people want to do what is needed to get the best result.

2. Say Thank You

But not just thank you but thank you for your help this week or thank you for completing that work document or project. Get specific, many people just say thank you but that can often be brushed off from many people. When people know you are thankful for something specific, it means more to them and they feel more inspired the next time around to do it even better.
